FBT FUSED TAPERED OPTICAL SPLITTER

An FBT (Fused Biconical Taper) optical splitter is a device that achieves optical power distribution by heating and stretching two or more optical fibers to fuse their cores together. During the manufacturing process, a flame or other heat source is used to locally heat the fibers to a molten state, which are then stretched to form a specific conical structure. When the optical signal passes through the fused region, it is distributed to different output fibers in a certain proportion, thereby realizing the optical splitting function.
